Thrifty operations come to Frankton Business Park
This design and build commercial project consisted of sheds, carwash, car yard, parking and office spaces for Thrifty Car Hire. The Cook Brothers Team were heavily involved in resolving any design challenges, offering up effective solutions to tenant requests so that issues were easily resolved.
The project involved clearing the site which had previously been used as farmland. The site was flat and covered with a 200mm layer of riverrun. Overall, a low-risk project in safety terms, the team had minimal challenges throughout the build. Health and Saftey procedures were in place for the duration of the project, with a focus on the erection of the steel frame and install of the roofing metal.
The team used Procore throughout the project to manage communications and documents. Innovations such as this ensured efficiency and as such both programme and budget targets were achieved and the client achieved a reduced final account figure and a one week shorter programme.
