Tekapo Retail

Our team in the Mackenzie District are really pulling out the stops. Take a look at the recently completed commercial development set on the stunning shores of Lake Tekapo. 

The building features a ground-level bar/restaurant area opening out onto the beautiful lakefront and retail space with Outside Sports already up and trading. There is also a secure bike storage facility, complete with a washdown station and EV chargers for bikes. There are also six studio units and two apartments with stunning views from private balconies overlooking the lake and mountains to top off this incredible space.

Due to the remote location, careful planning was required for a smooth and timely delivery. Despite the extreme weather conditions at some stages of the build, our team stayed on programme and integrated the retail fit-out within the base build package. 

Set in such a stunning location alongside the Rehua Dark Sky Observatory, this project was a very exciting addition to the township. The Client was extremely pleased with the final result and with the team that delivered the project. Well done to all those involved!
