A new modern build for the Canterbury Technology Park
The Sir Gil Simpson building is located in the Canterbury Technology Park. The project was a $4 million, 1,400 m2, 2 storey, 8 tenancy commercial build, designed by Stufkens and Chambers.
This design had architectural, high-spec precast concrete panels which were the first of their type in New Zealand. The panels had a patterned finished face and were dyed black. These panels proved a real feature of this modern build, used as external feature walls on the exterior, along with glazing and alucobond panelling.
