A stand out showroom for Harrison Bloy
Cook Brothers Construction was engaged for the construction of new showroom and warehouse for plumbing and drainage sales company Harrison Bloy (Chesters).
The project consisted of precast architectural concrete and steel structure with PIR panel and colour steel roofing. Challenges included the high traffic area location of the site, long lead items from other areas of the country and the tight programme. However, as Cook Brothers were involved in the front-end design stage, with input into the methodology, costings and programming the Southern Lakes team completed this project on time and on budget.
With project innovations including revising the panel sequencing and structural steel erection to reduce crane costs and time frame, as well as raising the 35 precast panels in a week, this project highlighted the efficiency and management of the Southern Lakes team.
With an impressive build timetable and an end value of $5 million, this showroom is a highlight of the Frankton industrial park much to the delight of the client.
