Won on the tender market, Cook Brothers Construction were engaged for the removal and rebuild of Cooke Howlison Toyotas new car showroom and sales offices. Completed over 15 months, the original building was stripped down to reveal years of history dating back to the original garage that was formally on site. With its single-story height the old showroom had no street presence and the floor was starting to slump into the reclaimed ground it was built on. Now, the new showroom is an exciting confirmation of Cooke Howlison expanding business.
The new light-filled showroom is a definite highlight of the project with twice the original height it includes a bright mezzanine floor. The showroom floor can comfortably house eight new vehicles and forms a link to the existing services and parts departments.
The quality of the project is of a high standard with an extremely impressed and happy client. The tight and busy site in the heart of an industrial Otago hub, this was was planned and executed extremely well by our Otago team. The project ran to programme and the closeout went smoothly with the project hand over on the agreed date.
Cook Howlison opened their doors to their new showroom on the 27 June 2019 to a crowd of people. This new showroom is a sign of big things to come for the Cook Howlison team.
