Set amongst the stunning vineyards of Bannockburn. The Christie Residence is an impressive single story home built with glass, concrete, and timber in three distinct and striking sections. With features of raw precast concrete panels, large glass windows wrapped in a dark cedar cladding. With sections of the home set back into the rock built in block work and finished in a grey plaster, this home settles in against the mountains of Bannockburn.
Blending the building into the rock face required careful execution and planning, as it is never a perfect detail. The team used existing rock from the section to help blend the building into the landscape.
Our Clients, so pleased with their new build, remarked that the team had bought them "home again".
