The new station is a much-needed upgrade increasing by nearly four times in size with facilities like a heated locker room, showers, toilets, kitchen, office, and an area to be used as a common meeting or training room. A generator has also been installed to keep the building operational in the event of a power outage in the town.
The build, supported by a Shovel Ready Government contribution, sees the upgraded facility bringing great excitement to the Athol community. We’re incredibly proud to have delivered this project for them and our valued client, Fire and Emergency NZ.
