Movember Great Shave 2019

Last week Cook Brothers kicked off Movember with the Great Shave. It was great to see our teams come together to show their support for each other and to raise awareness for Men's health.

A whopping 60 people on our team have put their name forward to raise money for Movember this year by either moving or growing the mighty mo. Fifteen of our game gents nationwide have proudly braved to grow a spectacular Mo, but first - they had to shave it all off!

On Friday the 1st of November, the sun was shining down in Queenstown and Dunedin where our teams gathered together. Our Otago team hosted one of their legendary BBQs as five of the boys faced the shave and scrubbed up to battle it out for the best Mo! The team in Queenstown were eager to get stuck into it. A massive thank you goes out to Bianca from The Cutting Room who donated her time to shave each one of the boys. Our Canterbury and Auckland regions got to it with their super movers prepping for the month ahead. For those who aren't growing a Mo, we are moving 60 kilometres over the month. That is 60 kilometres for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.
