Looking Ahead in 2020

2020 is an exciting year at Cook Brothers Construction. It's going to be an even bigger year for each of our regions. A very exciting project coming soon to the busy and bustling city of Queenstown is the Brecon St Development. This new development will feature King Pin ten pin bowling, the renowned Barvarian restaurant and bar and various delicious food stores including Max Brenner and El Camino Cantina, with many more still to come.

For our Canterbury team, they are well underway at the Colombo St Hotel. This six-story hotel in the heart of Christchurch is an exciting part of the redevelopment of the City Centre. This architecturally impressive design features 48 rooms, with the top floor featuring a restaurant and bar area.

Canterbury continues to wow us with the Richmond Working Men's Club and MSA. This impressive build sees the addition of a new bar, billiards, a pool area, social hall, and squash courts. The canterbury team are now well underway with the project, and we look forward to seeing this fantastic design come to life.

Down South, our Southern Lakes team are piling the site for the new Radisson Hotel. Located in Central Queenstown, this significant project features a 7500sqm five-level boutique in the heart of Queenstown. Working alongside Augusta Tourism, this will be the first Radisson branded hotel in New Zealand.

There are some really impressive projects underway and in the pipeline around the nation. We are looking forward to seeing all these projects come to life.
