We are thrilled to share the news that Cook Brothers Construction has secured the 10th position in this year’s prestigious BCI Construction League Report. This report showcases the nation's top construction firms based on the total value of projects that commenced construction in 2023.

In 2023, the construction industry encountered economic turbulence marked by rising costs, supply chain disruptions, and a shortage of skilled labour. Despite these hurdles, New Zealand's top firms demonstrated resilience and adaptability, thriving in this dynamic environment. The BCI Construction League ranks the leading construction companies in New Zealand based on the total value of projects initiated in 2023. With data from over 20,000 projects, BCI Central highlights the key players driving the industry and the economy forward.

The 2024 Construction League report showcases builders who have expertly navigated challenges to advance New Zealand's built environment. In 2023, the top 50 builders in the League began work on 612 projects worth a combined $8.4 billion, with the top 10 firms starting 283 projects valued at over $4.8 billion. For the first time, Cook Brothers Construction entered the top 10, launching 108 projects in 2023.

While construction activity is projected to slow in 2024 due to ongoing economic challenges, the top 50 builders initiated more projects in 2023 compared to 2022. Companies that effectively manage risks, adapt to change, and implement innovative strategies to boost productivity and performance can still succeed in this evolving landscape.

Our ranking within the top 10 is a significant recognition of our team’s hard work and dedication, which is the reason for our continued success. Thank you to our valued clients, trade partners, and consultants for their trust and support, which has been instrumental in delivering projects across New Zealand.
