About the Role

With a steady and growing pipeline of work, in the Auckland Region, Cook Brothers Construction are seeking Expressions of Interest for Qualified Carpenters for a mid-2025 start.

You will be working on various projects around the region, and display a positive and hard-working attitude, as well as being proud of the work that you produce.

Duties:

  • Contributing to our supportive and inclusive positive Build Team and cooperating with our trade partners on site
  • Completing all necessary carpentry tasks
  • Monitoring and maintaining levels of quality
  • Working in a tidy and efficient manner
  • Committing to being part of a positive health and safety culture

Your tasks may include:

Concrete work, framing, hardware, insulations, joinery, siteworks, trims and finishing, windows and doors, erecting walls, building stairs, or precision tasks such as repairing furniture or installing cabinets, trim and molding. Excavations, demolition work, precast erection, reinforcing steel, roof framing.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • NZ Trade qualification in Carpentry
  • Demonstrated experience in the Commercial and/or High-End residential space
  • A Licenced Building Practitioner Certificate is highly desired
  • Proven ability to deliver on quality and high-level customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work well in within a team environment
