About the Role

As the Project Administrator, you will be supporting multiple projects within the Canterbury region so will be splitting your time between being on site and working in the main office. Reporting to the Project Manager or Construction Manager – you will be responsible for providing administration support to the Project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timesheets are completed daily and submitted by due date/time on a fortnightly basis
  • Help with the administration of Health and Safety on the project.
  • Minute taking for meetings
  • Document control
  • Answer calls, respond to emails, customer inquiries, greet visitors and liaise with clients as needed
  • Following up on close-out documentation at project completion
  • General Administration

About You:

To thrive in this role, attention to detail is important alongside the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is a motivated and wants to grow their career in the construction industry.

  • At least 6 months in a similar role, or a qualification in a related area
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on tight timeframes
  • Administration background ideal
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Good written and oral communication skills, including a courteous phone manner
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Can do, proactive attitude
